The World Getting Worse?

The world is getting worse? As if being in hell? This is what Socrates thought 400B.C.

"Children now love with luxury. They have bad manners, contempt for authority, no respect for parents. They no longer invite the parents when they entered the room. They contradict their parents, chatter before company, gobble up food on the table, crossing her legs , and feel more than their teachers. "
"Young people today only think about themselves. They do not respect parents or old age. I look forward to each brake. They talk as if they alone knew everything and what passes by our wisdom is foolishness As for children their daughter,. advanced, polite and feminine in language, behavior and dress. "

People because they have been. We have not changed a bit '. There are those of us who accept this as a natural way of things ... and then there are the alarmists are so afraid of the world who want to shelter yourself from it and create a vision of an artificial world that has not and can never be achieved. As a student of history, the world becomes clearer when everything can be seen in perspective. Never change ...

I would be willing to bet that the average person in ancient Egypt, Sumeria, Napoleonic France, the old American West, and China will recognize the Chin Dynasty humor all the same, telling the same jokes are still told today, the same day day problems in their marriage , and hoping for the same things in life. Even the gladiator games in Rome can still be heard today in a game of American football. As people want to paint the past as something better than now, not at all true. The myth of the "Greatest Generation", who came home from World War II is the main culprit in the interpretation of history, we all missed the past but actually, people are people.

With population growth, and news channels are still locked in a 24-hour cycle time, more and more news reported only worse because there's more. The report is always the same though. If there is one fatality per 10,000 people, there are 100,000 per billion. Should all be reported, unfortunately. No, the world is not getting worse, it's just more and more dense and the way we have to take care of ourselves that creates the illusion that creates fear. Yes, in the '50s, people generally do not lock the door and others beliefs. But when all you hear is a crime and murder, it seems like today is worse than yesterday, not ... although exactly the same yesterday today ...
